Research Manager Jeremy Morris and team of UNBC researchers visited Otter Creek as part of the multi-year NSERC/Rio Tinto Industrial Research Chair program in Climate Change and Water Security project. The monitoring of temperatures in the Nechako watershed will provide the team with data to train a computer model to stimulate water temperature everywhere in the basin and help the team to gauge fish health under various climate scenarios.
